Stehekin Magic

Stehekin Magic

After our snowy and wet days to reach the Canada border, setting out towards our first town stop was a delight. Moreover, Stehekin is not just any trail town, as nearly all PCT hikers make a lengthy stop at the Stehekin Pastry Company, better known as ”The Bakery”. Exceptional and exceptionally LARGE pastries, pizza, and coffee make this town stop stand out. Needless to say, we spent roughly six hours in total, over two days at this particular establishment.

While spending yet another meal and another day at The Bakery was appealing, the trail managed to draw us from our Stehekin Magic.

Back in the PNW wilderness, our homemade Chili, curry noodles, and Chana dahl beat out any pastry or pizza complimented with a healthy side of sunsets, mountains, and of course crests makes our every trail stop magic.
